Gifts in Action

Your gift can make great things happen.

You already know that we bring young people together across generations, backgrounds, and beliefs to tackle real problems that matter to local communities. But you may not know exactly how we can use your gift to make the greatest impact.

Your donations help create a strong and thriving America.

We take civic development seriously. We focus our money and efforts on preparing a generation of young people to be stronger citizens by teaching them how to build trust, strengthen relationships, inspire others to engage, and collaborate to get things done. We work toward a generation that is well-informed, focused on fresh solutions, and hopeful about tomorrow.

Your support matters.

When you make a planned gift to C&S, your contribution can support us in a variety of ways, including:

  • Partnering with the adults that shape Gen Z lives on campus, at work, and in our communities.
  • Teaching young people how to have productive conversations anchored in respect, distinguish credible information, and work together toward a shared challenge.
  • Providing the programs, tools, and training Gen Z needs to guide their path.
  • Supplying funding, mentorship, and partnerships that strengthen networks and open doors.

Make your gift more meaningful.

  • A dedicated gift. You can make your contribution in honor or memory of someone special.
  • A directed gift. You can choose to put your donation toward a particular program, fellowship, or initiative that resonates with you.
  • An enduring gift. You can leave a powerful legacy by contributing to or creating an endowment fund to support your area of greatest interest in perpetuity. Read more about endowment gifts.

Make a gift, make a difference.

1970 Woodrow Wilson Fellow and 1992 Newcombe Fellow

The Sullivans give back to Citizens & Scholars because of its roots in education. They are eloquent about their "desire to support better educated citizens," and to help make sure that faculty and graduate students receive the kind of much-needed research support that their Fellowships offered.
